Keeping employees safe at work is a critical part of your business. Workers Compensation insurance gives you and your employees important protections in the event of an employee work related injury or illness. Workers Compensation is a state mandated program that can provide a safeguard from lost wages and medical treatment. It assures that an employee can get medical care and compensation for a portion of the income they lose while they are unable to work.

Commercial General Liability can prevent major financial losses if your business is sued or held legally responsible in the event of bodily injury or property damage. With the proper policy, you can have most medical expenses, attorney fees, settlements, and reimbursements covered.  This policy can provide coverage for an injury that occurs on the business premises as well as injury caused by the business operations and products.

With a custom Property Insurance policy you can ensure that the building itself and the personal property of your business is protected from minor accidents or a major financial loss.  It can provide coverage for fire, storms, explosions, burst pipes as well as theft and vandalism.

As the owner of a business, you are liable for the products you manufacture or sell. Product Liability Insurance  provides protection against property damage and bodily injury that arises from a defect in your product.

A Business Owners Policy is a package policy created for small businesses. A BOP allows your business to create a customized insurance policy that combines Property and Commercial General Liability as well as additional coverages based on your specific needs.

To prevent losing your hard-earned revenue due to an auto accident, you’ll want to ensure that your vehicles, products, and drivers are insured in the event of property or vehicle damage, bodily injury, legal costs, and more.  Commercial Auto Insurance will cover all vehicles used in conducting your business.

A Commercial Umbrella Policy will provide your business with additional coverage should a lawsuit or major accident exceed the limits of your existing, or underlying, General, Auto, or other business liability policy.  This coverage will give you an extra layer of insurance to protect business assets.

Inland Marine Insurance covers products, equipment and materials when they are transported over land. The two most frequent causes of Inland Marine loss are cargo theft and collisions.

Errors and Omission Insurance, also known as Professional Liability Insurance protects your business from bearing the full cost if you are sued for negligently performing your services. This coverage is recommended for companies that provide a professional service or regularly give advice to clients.

Also know as EPLI, this insurance covers businesses against claims by workers that their legal rights as employees have been violated. EPLI can cover claims of hostile work environment, discrimination, wrongful termination and sexual harassment. In today’s environment, EPLI is an important part of risk management.

DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS INSURANCE

Directors and Officers Insurance, also know as D&O, covers directors and officers for claims made against them while serving as an officer or on a board of directors. Important features of a D&O Policy are that they cover monetary damages but exclude bodily injury and property damage and they are written as a ‘Claims Made” policy.

FIDUCIARY LIABILITY INSURANCE

Fiduciary Liability Insurance, sometimes know as Management Liability Insurance is focused on protecting businesses’ assets against a claim of mismanagement of a company’s employee benefit plans. This includes making bad investment decisions and negligently handling plan records.

VISION

INSURANCE

As an employer in today’s business world you recognize how important it is to provide health insurance.  It helps to attract and keep good employees. Whether you choose to offer conventional HMO’s, PPO’s or want to consider partial self insuring or total self insuring, Kristin can show you all the choices and all your options.

A group Dental Plan is an affordable benefit with HMO’s or PPO’s to choose from. Typically, dental coverage pays for half of certain procedures, as well as for preventative care, up to a certain limit per family member per year. Some dental coverage also includes benefits for orthodontics.

Managed Vision Coverage is an affordable way to access vision care due to low premiums and benefits that hold down out-of-pocket costs at the time of service.  Kirk Rothrock, CEO of Davis Vision | Superior Vision.

Premiums for insurance that replaces a portion of your employees income if they can’t work due to a non-work-related illness or injury can be paid for by the employer, employee or both. Purchasing this insurance as individual policies would be quite expensive. Group policies are much less expensive per covered employee.

GROUP LIFE

INSURANCE

Group Life insurance is a popular benefit for employers to offer. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), in 2017 59% of non-government workers had access to employer-provided life insurance. Life insurance isn’t as common a benefit as health insurance, so offering it can help draw talent to a company
